Ensuring that Colas employees and third parties behave in an ethical manner is essential to maintaining the Group's values. Colas has strengthened its compliance culture by identifying risks of corruption and human rights violations, continuously raising awareness of ethics and compliance rules, and implementing controls to ensure procedures are followed correctly.

Identifying the risk of corruption and human rights violations and implementing appropriate action plans

After mapping the risk of corruption, an action plan is drawn up that is adapted to each entity. In 2022, this approach was adapted to cover human rights-related risks.

Applying the rules of ethical behavior

After creating compliance documentation and developing tools and materials to assist in the implementation process, training and communication campaigns are launched at all levels of the Group.

Actions or complicity in terms of corruption or anti-competitive practices represent great economic and financial risks and can threaten the company's reputation. The same applies to the violation of human rights.

Ensuring that Colas employees and their partners work within the framework of business ethics is the foundation of the Group's values.

Application of ethics and compliance procedures

Colas promotes its culture of compliance by identifying risks of corruption, anti-competitive practices and human rights violations, communicating and applying ethical and compliance rules (code of conduct, manual of procedures, training, etc.), implementing ethical and compliance processes and monitoring the extent to which they respect (digitalization of compliance procedures, preventive actions, warnings, controls and sanctions).

Compliance procedures are now available in digital format through the Group's own e-Comply tool, facilitating their day-to-day application across all Group entities.

Compliance is the driver of continuous improvement. It allows us to stand out from our competition.
