The company Colas Mineral specializes in the exploitation - processing and distribution of mineral raw materials and aggregates, and operates as part of the world-famous Colas group.
What do we do?
Since we are engaged in the production of aggregates of different fractions (gravel, sand, crushed stone) which are key ingredients for making concrete, asphalt and other infrastructure projects, we support the construction industry worldwide through the services and products we offer.
The organization itself within the company is two important production locations: Hrastovljan and Puča.
Gravel pit Hrastovljan, as an important industrial facility in Varaždin County, primarily deals with the exploitation of construction sand and gravel, providing high-quality material to its customers. The process of exploitation includes the extraction of material from the natural deposit, followed by refining, that is, the classification of the obtained raw material. Due to its geological characteristics, the Puča quarry is known for the exploitation of limestone, which is also used for the production of aggregates. In terms of location, both production locations are located near important traffic roads - the A4 and A1 highways; which ensures reliable and timely supply of aggregates to customers.

Colas Mineral continuously works on innovations in the production process in order to increase efficiency and reduce the impact on the environment, including the use of new technologies in the extraction and processing of minerals and the implementation of more environmentally friendly methods. It also pays great attention to sustainability and environmental protection through the development of technologies that reduce emissions and increase energy efficiency.
