At the end of June, the presentation of the new asphalt base and business premises of Colas Hrvatska d.d. was held to the public, local partners and local and regional self-government units. It is an asphalt base Split (Ulica put Bana 28, Dugopolje) which is located in the Split-Dalmatia County, in Dugopolje and is important for the economic development of the area.

Colas is a name that is often heard throughout Dalmatia in the last decade. It is not surprising, because we have become recognizable for the projects that we have successfully completed, projects that have brought changes for the better. Just some of them are the Pelješac Bridge and the Ston bypass, the construction of the Western Ramp of the entrance to the city of Split, as well as the construction of the A1 to A10 motorway junction towards Bosnia and Herzegovina... There is more, and there will be more, because Colas has just launched a new asphalt base in Dugopolje and opened his company's business premises. This plant is of great importance for the economic development of Split-Dalmatia County and for the development of its infrastructure. It is Colas' third base in the south of Croatia, and its products will meet the needs of customers in the area.

The asphalt production plant is powered by gas, the rainwater system is built according to the required requirements from the project. The plant itself is of the AMMAN type of the Swiss manufacturer, ready for the production of all types of asphalt mixtures known today. The plant is equipped with a system for the use of recycled asphalt in production, soon low-temperature asphalt, which will further reduce CO2 emissions.
