Asfalti Ptuj are working intensively on the asphalting of the road and roundabout on the Hrpelje – Kozina Bypass project, by the investor Godina/DRSI. The route is 1.5 km long, located in the southwestern part of Slovenia and follows a new route (not the existing road). The new bypass includes two larger roundabouts and three overpasses, as well as a long-term solution to traffic congestion, which, together with the new roundabout on the Adriatic, will ensure a significantly higher traffic flow.
This project is of great importance for the local population because the construction of the bypass will reduce the traffic density through the town, redirect freight vehicles to the bypass and provide greater traffic safety, especially for pedestrians.
