Did you know that today is the St. Barbara Day, the patron saint of miners?
In the Hrastovljan gravel pit, one of the two mining plants of Colas Mineral, we commemorated the above and remembered the lines from the life of St. Barbara.

Interesting facts and mining features:
• the ceremonial miner's uniform is black with 28 gold insignia in memory of St. Barbara, who died at the age of 28
• the characteristics of guild affiliation are the hammer and mallet that are on the miner's flag, and date back to the 14th century
• the miners' salute: "Good luck!" which we can still hear on the streets today, has a real meaning and meaning for miners, given the danger of their call
